Then we fall for it a third time with the Vita version and it, too, has the bad load times and awful menus (90% of the time you tap on something that you really should've been able to use the buttons for, it doesn't do anything, or it takes it 10 seconds to respond), and consistently poor frame rate in races which basically makes it unplayable. Longest load times by far, bad frame rate all over the place, sluggish menus once again.
It can be sluggish (in menus, especially) and is has horrible horrible horrible load times, but the actual gameplay runs nice, which is where it really matters. But there's no way having a custom character and cart on the track would drop it down to 22FPS. So surely those making the game realized it.did you guys just not care, or what? I can go pick up Wipeout and it looks a lot shinier and runs 10x better.at the expense of having no custom stuff. Everybody in the world who has touched this game knows it's slow and it's clunky and the touch controls are ridiculously bad. It would be really, really meaningful for those of us who got the game to get some kind of context on this.
